Treatment for Common cold

[HINTS: Contd-To be continued, M- Month, ±M- Before or After Meal, AM- After Meal, ½HBM- ½ Hour Before Meal,W- Week, D-Day.2HAM- 2 Hour After Meal,bid-Twice daily, tid-Three times daily,qid-Four times daily.]

1. Tab . Cetirizine (10 mg)
1 tab-once daily(Preferably at night) (±M) ——————————2 /3 W
Or,
Tab .[Pseudoephedrine Hcl + Loratadine] (120/5 ,240/10 mg)
1 tab-once daily(Preferably at night) (±M) ——————————2 /3 W
Or,
Tab .Fexofenadin Hcl (30 , 60 , 120 , 180 mg)
1 tab-once daily(Preferably at night) (±M) ——————————2 /3 W

2. Tab . Paracetamol (±Caffeine)[If there is fever or headache]
1 or 2 tab-tid/qid (±M) ——————————1 /2  W

3. Xylometazoline Hcl Nasal drop/ spray (0.05 %, 0.1 %,0.5%)
2 puff or,3 /4 drops into each nostril – tid ————–7 D
Or,
Oxymetazoline Hcl Nasal drop/ spray (0.025 %, 0.05 %)
2 puff or,3 /4 drops into each nostril – tid ————–7 D

4. Tab . Vitamin C (250mg)
1 tab-tid (±M) [Chewable]——————————2  W.
